Career

Previously EVP at JLL leading retail expansion across DFW, and Managing Principal of the retail division at Holt Lunsford Commercial. He began his career at Colonial Commercial Real Estate as a top producer and later served as Vice President and Marketing Leader at Vision Commercial. Before commercial real estate, Gray spent over a decade in hospitality, culminating at Le Cep, a Top 100 ranked U.S. restaurant.

Alyssa Gray currently serves as Director for Level Commercial Realty where she specializes in retail, office, and land sites. Prior to joining Level Commercial, Gray served as Senior Associate at JLL, working out of the Dallas and Fort Worth offices. Previously, she taught special education for middle school which remains a huge passion for her.

John Hill's interest in real estate began at an early age as his family owned and managed multifamily properties in Dallas, Texas. After finishing an undergraduate degree in economics at Baylor University and a master's in economics at Texas Christian University, John enrolled at The University of Tennessee where he completed a Ph.D. in economics. He refined his interest in real estate during this period, specializing and researching in the area of urban and regional economics.

Current Practice

John owns multifamily and commercial property in Abilene that are managed by Barnett & Hill. His brokerage work, investments, and day-to-day operations of a management company provide a real-world application of his academic experience in economics.

Community & Teaching

Outside the brokerage, John performs expert valuation analysis for litigation and teaches part-time at Hardin-Simmons University. John has served his community as an Abilene city councilman and is a past trustee at the University of the South at Sewanee.
